Year 2  // - Now entering his second season at Nobel University, David Rice returns as the Sports Information Director and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach - a dual-role leader whose influence stretches across the entire athletic department. Tasked with overseeing media relations, statistics, academic progress of all student-athletes, and day-to-day operations for the athletic team, Rice is the engine behind much of the department's internal structure and external visibility and communications.

A trusted strategist and longtime collaborator, Rice enters his 18th season working alongside Director of Athletics Les Bean -  a coaching partnership built on loyalty, execution, and championship standards. In addition to his SID responsibilities, Rice will also serve as the interim men's golf coach. 

​

Coach Rice's attention to detail, network and experience is undeniable. While managing operations and communications for all seven sports teams, his program-first mentality and behind-the-scenes leadership remains critical to the success of Nobel University Athletics.

Year 1  // - David Rice joins Les Bean staff as a familiar face to Bean's philosophy and overall programming as the pair begin there 17th season of coaching together.

Rice will serve as both interim Basketball Operations Coordinator and  Sports Information Coordinator. Rice will also oversee other programs operations.
