YEAR 2  //  - Entering his second season at the helm of Nobel University Baseball, Head Coach DJ Gunderson is locked in on building a championship-caliber program. After leading the Knights through their inaugural season in 2025, Gunderson now turns his focus to revamping the roster and positioning the team as a true competitive force heading into 2026.

In addition to his coaching duties, Gunderson also serves as the Compliance Coordinator for Nobel Athletics — ensuring all incoming and returning student-athletes remain on track academically, athletically, and eligibility-wise. His attention to detail and integrity-driven leadership are cornerstones of the athletic department’s foundation.

​

 

A rising star in the coaching world, DJ brings a strong pedigree as a former collegiate player and respected youth club coach with deep roots in the Southern California baseball scene. His professionalism, player-first culture, and relentless work ethic make him a vital part of the Nobel University coaching family. The groundwork is laid — and Coach Gunderson is just getting started.
